ABOUT JELLY BEANS

I think our lives are comparable to jelly beans in so many ways. Jelly beans come in many colours just like how we have different races. In a jar of jelly beans, there are many flavours and colours same as in mankind's community where individuals are being situated together, despite our nationality, age and gender differences. One brand of jelly beans define one big family. Under one label, every bean may look identical and taste indistinguishable, even so, it will undoubtedly have its own uniqueness and remarkable taste. A jelly bean is produced in one country and exported around the world, moving from one region to another, just like how we live our lives, moving from place to place. At every stop, every jelly bean will get a glimpse of cultural diversity, like in every journey we take, we will endlessly gain new experiences . Every bean has different flavours just like how we have stories of our own. Some may be sweet, some may be sour, some may even be a little bitter and some may have the combination of all. Some beans may look appetising, nevertheless until you give it a try, you will never know if it will be flavoursome or taste like rotten egg. Similar to our humankind, some individuals may look genuine but they may in fact be quite nasty, hence never judge anyone or anything by their appearances. Every jelly bean hope that one day it will be eaten by someone and yearn to delight consumers before it reaches its expired date, like human, we tend to forget that we are blessed enough to be able to choose our own destiny, fate and what we want to do with our lives, yet we often live our lives upon society's expectations, busy ourselves trying to please others until our very last breath. Thus, jelly beans and us are immensely similar. 

As much as I would like to take control over the course of my life, there's only so much i can do. Consequently, I believe that my life consists of two jelly beans. This blog will only explore the first bean though, the one part of my life that I have absolute control over, hence it's called "insidethejellybean". As for the other jelly bean, it's the another part of me that is beyond my authority, I will never know where life will lead me and neither would you, so I guess i will leave room for possibilities and see where it will get me (:
